Enter two UK registration numbers and we build both vehicles' records from official DVLA and DVSA data, then line them up row by row: MOT pass rates, failures, advisories, recorded and estimated mileage, tax status and CO2. The stronger value in each row is marked so differences stand out.
What does the comparison treat as better?
A newer year, a valid MOT, a higher pass rate, fewer failures and advisories, lower mileage and lower CO2. These are sensible defaults, not a verdict: a well-maintained high-mileage car can be the smarter buy, so always read both full reports before deciding.
